Meet Martha Montoya; she's the creator of a Hispanic cartoon with a social commentary, Los Kitos. Born and raised in Colombia, her parents were in the business of education owning two universities. Martha's early life stradled the privilege class at the country club while volunteering in prisons and orphanages where she confronted poverty. Her day job in international agricultural development has taken her around the world. While it took the better part of ten years, her comic strip is now in over 370 newspapers in the US, Europe, China, Latin America and the Middle East. Her latest comic strip topic: religious free speech.
