Los Kitos and Internetmercado are in the bag

Internet Mercado (IMCC) and Los Kitos LLC, have agreed to integrate Los Kitos.com features into their weekly LaBolsita.com newsletter, as well as cobrand the version delivered to Los Kitos.com users as LaBolsita: A weekly newsletter brought to you by Los Kitos.com. The LaBolsita.com newsletter, which is distributed to more than one-hundred thousand Hispanic e-mail addresses will also link up the public to the Los Kitos website. The plan is to launch the newsletter on April 4, 2001. For more than six years, La Bolsita (the little bag), has been instrumental in providing Hispanic families with information on product and services available in the U.S. The success of La Bolsita is evident in the fact that door-to-door distribution has increased from one million to 2,852,000 Hispanic households. La Bolsita. will now include LosKitos.com banner ads, and consumers will also see the Los Kitos comic strip placed on the outside of the bag. Future plans include IMCC and Los Kitos working together to produce an online radio sponsorship program.
