Magic Johnson bestows Global Diversity Award

In March of 2002, Martha Montoya was nominated by the Latin Business Association to receive the Global Diversity Award in honor of Women¹s Month. This award is presented to women “who have displayed outstanding character, community service and business acumen.” At the “2002 Business Exchange: Tour for Success Small Business Seminar,” keynote speaker Earvin “Magic” Johnson, ex-L.A. Lakers star, presented the award to Martha after highlighting her entrepreneurial skills and successes before an enthusiastic audience. The Tour for Success, a free seminar open to the public, took place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
